The properties of Agropecuária Santa Ignês are located near Muzambinho and Caconde, on the border between the states of São Paulo and Minas Gerais. The mountainous region with volcanic soils has an average altitude of 1,150 meters and a climate highly favorable for coffee cultivation. The primary focus of Santa Ignês is the production of Specialty Arabica Coffees. The varieties produced include Bourbon, Catuaí, and Mundo Novo, distributed across different terroirs.

All operations at Agropecuária Santa Ignês are deeply rooted in the family tradition of decades of soil cultivation. While the initial focus was on quantity production, the family passion for coffee led them to invest more in higher quality coffee farming by expanding and improving the plantations. The coffee tradition has been combined with new techniques to develop a unique product for consumers interested in specialty coffees. It all began with Mr. Alfredo Gonçalves and Mr. Ênio Martins, and today, under the management of their granddaughters, Mariana, Beatriz, and Daniela, now in the third generation, the focus of Agropecuária Santa Ignês is on sustainability and traceability of its production processes.

The annual production is 5.5 thousand bags of coffee, including natural and pulped natural coffee. The entire production process adheres to the strictest sustainability standards and the most refined cultivation techniques, with full traceability of the products through barcodes, QR codes, and numbered seals. The harvest is manual, and the farm has its own roasting facility for the Café Carruá and Nosso Café brands. This meticulous care in the production chain results in a beverage with balanced acidity and pleasant sweetness. In the cup, fruity flavors or hints of caramel, hazelnut, and slight chocolate notes can be revealed.

Agropecuária Santa Ignês also has social and environmental concerns. Socially, it offers its employees medical assistance with a clinic, ambulance, and dental office. It also provides canteens and restrooms at the work fronts, as well as decent transportation for the workers. Environmentally, it maintains forest reserves and creates new preservation areas through social campaigns with the communities.

Santa Ignês coffees can be classified as Mountain Specialty Coffees, and today the company holds UTZ, Certifica Minas, ID, Rainforest, Nucoffee, and Starbucks certifications. Santa Ignês coffees are distributed in the state of São Paulo and exported to San Marino in Europe, under the brand name Sammarinese Blend, which is a registered trademark in the European Union.
